Tony Banks A Chord Too Far

El teclista y cofundador de los clásicos del progresivo ingleses Genesis va a publicar una caja de cuatro

discos con lo mejor de su carrera este mes de julio. Será el 6 de julio a través de Esoteric Recordings y contendrá 49 temas seleccionados por Banks de su discografía, además de algunas remezclas.
Los temas los ha elegido de modo que sean representativos de su trabajo fuera de Genesis y están extraídos de  A Curious Feeling (1979), The Fugitive (1983), The Wicked Lady (1983), Soundtracks (1986), Bankstatement (1989), Still (1991), Strictly Inc (1995) y sus discos orquestales  Seven: A Suite for Orchestra (2004) y Six Pieces for Orchestra (2012). También incluye la caja varios temas no publicados anteriormente entre los que están tres demos de sus suites orquestales y un tema escrito originalmente para Still. A Chord Too Far es la primera reedición de la carrera de Banks a la que le seguirá A Curious Feeling y The Fugitive en octubre y The Wicked Lady y Soundtracks en enero de 2016. Un buen momento para conocer la carrera de este discreto pero genial músico.
